Local Governing Committees

Local Governing Committees (also known as the local tier of governance) form a bridge between the Trust Board and the individual schools in the Agape Trust. The local tier is integral to the governance of a multi-academy trust. Our Local Governing Committees are the Trust's ambassadors in the local community and have a deep knowledge and understanding of their school. As a result they play a crucial role in safeguarding, SEND, health & safety, education quality and performance, admissions and our spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) curriculum.

For information on the remit, delegated powers and responsibilities of the Local Governing Committee please refer to our scheme of delegation on our website
